यावद्बद्धो मरुद्देहे यावच्चेतो निराश्रयम् । यावद्दृष्टिर्भुवोर्मध्ये तावत्कालभयं कुतः

yāvadbaddho maruddehe yāvacceto nirāśrayam | yāvaddṛṣṭirbhuvormadhye tāvatkālabhayaṃ kutaḥ

جب تک سانس بدن میں بندھا رہے، جب تک چِت بیرونی سہارے کے بغیر ٹھہرا رہے، اور جب تک نگاہ بھنوؤں کے درمیان جمی رہے—پھر کال (موت) کا خوف کہاں سے پیدا ہو؟
