nirdagdhānsāgarāñchrutvā kapilakrodhavahninā | aśvamedhāśvasaṃyuktānpūrvajānsvānbhagīrathaḥ

کپِل کے غضب کی آگ سے جلائے گئے اپنے آباء—سागरگان، جو اشومیدھ کے گھوڑے کے ساتھ وابستہ تھے—یہ سن کر بھگیرتھ نے اُن کی نجات کا عزم کیا۔
