caraṇau viṣṇuśaraṇau hitvā nārāyaṇāṃgaṇam | tasya no caratonyatra carato vipulaṃ tapaḥ

اگرچہ اُس نے وِشنو کے پناہ دینے والے قدموں اور نارائن کے آنگن کو چھوڑا، پھر بھی اُس کے قدم کہیں اور نہ چلے؛ ایسی عظیم اور ثابت قدم تپسیا اُس نے کی۔
