मादृश्यो मंदभाग्यायाः प्रमदासु प्रतिष्ठिताः । केवलं राजपत्नीत्ववादस्तासु न तद्रुचिः
mādṛśyo maṃdabhāgyāyāḥ pramadāsu pratiṣṭhitāḥ | kevalaṃ rājapatnītvavādastāsu na tadruciḥ
مجھ جیسی کم نصیب عورتوں کو محل کی عورتوں میں جگہ تو مل جاتی ہے؛ مگر وہاں بس ‘بادشاہ کی بیوی’ کا لقب رہ جاتا ہے—اس میں نہ حقیقی لذت ہے نہ قدر و منزلت۔
