nirmalīkṛtya tacceto ratnaṃ dattvā pinākine | prapapau kaṇadhūmaughaṃ sahasraṃ śaradāṃ kaviḥ

دل کو پاک کر کے اس رِشی نے پِناک دھاری شِو کو ایک قیمتی رتن نذر کیا۔ پھر بھگوان کی کرپا کے لیے اس نے ہزار خزاں تک دھوئیں اور گرد کے سیلاب کو سہہ کر عظیم تپسیا کی۔
