यदा देवं नालुलोके मनागपि वरोन्मुखम् । तदान्यं नियमं घोरं जग्राहातीवदुःसहम्
yadā devaṃ nāluloke manāgapi varonmukham | tadānyaṃ niyamaṃ ghoraṃ jagrāhātīvaduḥsaham
لیکن جب اس نے دیو کو ذرا سا بھی ور دینے کی طرف مائل نہ دیکھا، تب اس نے ایک اور ہولناک نِیَم اختیار کیا—جو نہایت دشوار اور ناقابلِ برداشت تھا۔
