कुरु सेतुं समुद्रे त्वं शक्तो ह्यसि महामते । तदाऽब्रवीन्नलो वाक्यं रामं धर्मभृतां वरम्
kuru setuṃ samudre tvaṃ śakto hyasi mahāmate | tadā'bravīnnalo vākyaṃ rāmaṃ dharmabhṛtāṃ varam
“تم سمندر پر ایک سیتو (پل) بناؤ؛ اے عظیم فہم والے، تم یقیناً قادر ہو۔” پھر نَل نے دھرم کے نگہبانوں میں افضل، شری رام سے یہ کلمات کہے۔
