mahātmanāṃ brāhmaṇānāmṛṣīṇāmūrdhvaretasām | teṣāṃ vai putrapautrāṇāṃ nāmāni ca vadāmyaham

ان عظیمُ النَّفس برہمن رِشیوں کے—جو اُردھوریتس (ضبطِ نفس) کے حامل تھے—اُن کے بیٹوں اور پوتوں کے نام میں اب بیان کرتا ہوں۔
