ये च भिन्नप्रपाप्रायास्त्रैविद्या मोढवंशजाः । तथा चातुर्वेदिनश्च कुर्वंति गोत्रपूजनम्

اور وہ لوگ بھی جو جدا جدا رسم و رواج اور نسبی طریقوں کی طرف مائل ہیں—تین ویدوں کے عالم، موڑھ (Moḍha) نسل میں پیدا ہوئے—اور اسی طرح چاتُرویدی (چاروں ویدوں کے جاننے والے) بھی اپنے گوتر، یعنی آبائی رِشی-سلسلے کی تعظیم میں گوتر پوجن کرتے ہیں۔
