शासनं चेन्न दृष्टं वो नैव तत्पालयाम्यहम् । द्विजाः कोपसमाविष्टा ददुः प्रत्युत्तरं तदा
śāsanaṃ cenna dṛṣṭaṃ vo naiva tatpālayāmyaham | dvijāḥ kopasamāviṣṭā daduḥ pratyuttaraṃ tadā
‘اگر تم نے حکم (اختیار) دیکھا ہی نہیں تو میں اسے نہیں مانوں گا۔’ تب غصّے میں بھرے ہوئے دِویجوں نے جواب دیا۔
