śāṃto dāṃtaḥ suśīlaśca satyadharmaparāyaṇaḥ | dvāparāṃte nṛpaśreṣṭha anāgame kalau yuge

اے نَرپ شریشٹھ! وہ پُرسکون، ضبطِ نفس والا، خوش خُلق اور ستیہ و دھرم کا پرستار تھا—دوَاپر کے اختتام پر، کَلی یُگ کے آنے سے پہلے۔
