aṣṭamyāṃ rāvaṇo māyāmaithilīṃ hatavānkudhīḥ | śokāvegāttadā rāmaścakre sainyāvadhāraṇam

Translation

آٹھویں تِتھی کو بدخِرد راون نے مایا-میتھلی (مایا سیتا) کو قتل کر دیا۔ تب غم کے طوفان سے بے قرار ہو کر رام نے لشکر کو جنگ کے لیے ترتیب دے کر ثابت قدم کیا۔
