तावल्लज्जा भयं तावत्स्वाचारस्तावदेव हि । ज्ञानमौदार्यमैश्वर्यं तावदेव हि भासते । यावन्मत्तांगनापाशैः पातितो नैव बन्धनैः
tāvallajjā bhayaṃ tāvatsvācārastāvadeva hi | jñānamaudāryamaiśvaryaṃ tāvadeva hi bhāsate | yāvanmattāṃganāpāśaiḥ pātito naiva bandhanaiḥ
حیا اور گناہ کا خوف بھی بس اسی وقت تک رہتا ہے؛ نیک چلن بھی اسی وقت تک قائم رہتا ہے۔ علم، سخاوت اور دولت کی روشنی بھی اسی وقت تک چمکتی ہے، جب تک آدمی کسی مدہوش و بےپروا عورت کے پھندوں اور پاسوں میں گر کر بندھن میں نہ جا پڑے۔
