तमेवाराधयिष्यामि निरंजनमकल्मषः । एवं कृत्वा मतिं दैत्य स्तपस्तेपे सुदुष्करम् । भीतो जन्मभयाद्घोराद्दुष्करं यन्महात्मभिः
tamevārādhayiṣyāmi niraṃjanamakalmaṣaḥ | evaṃ kṛtvā matiṃ daitya stapastepe suduṣkaram | bhīto janmabhayādghorādduṣkaraṃ yanmahātmabhiḥ
“میں اسی نِرنجن، بے داغ و بے آلودہ پروردگار کی عبادت کروں گا۔” یوں عزم باندھ کر اس دَیتیہ نے بار بار جنم کے ہولناک خوف سے ڈر کر نہایت دشوار تپسیا کی—جو بڑے مہاتماؤں کے لیے بھی کٹھن ہے۔
