एष पुण्यतमो लोके गोपानां कीर्तिवर्धनः । अस्य वंशेऽष्टमो भावी नंदोनाम महायशाः । प्राप्स्यते तस्य पुत्रत्वं कृष्णो नारा यणः स्वयम्
eṣa puṇyatamo loke gopānāṃ kīrtivardhanaḥ | asya vaṃśe'ṣṭamo bhāvī naṃdonāma mahāyaśāḥ | prāpsyate tasya putratvaṃ kṛṣṇo nārā yaṇaḥ svayam
یہ شخص دنیا میں نہایت پُنیہ والا ہے، گوالوں کی کیرتی بڑھانے والا۔ اس کی نسل میں آٹھواں عظیم الشہرت ‘نند’ نامی ہوگا؛ اور خود نارائن—کرشن—اس کے بیٹے کے طور پر جنم لیں گے۔
