Transliteration

itthamākraṃditaṃ śrutvā sa rājā dhanurādade | tāvadāgatya śārdūlo madhye jagrāha tāṃ vadhūm

Translation

یوں فریاد سن کر بادشاہ نے اپنا کمان اٹھا لیا، مگر اسی دم شیرِ بیشہ (ببر) لپکا اور عین مجمع کے بیچ دلہن کو جھپٹ کر لے گیا۔
