का त्वमस्मिन्पुरे देवि वससे शिवमर्चती । ताश्चागताः स्त्रियः सर्वाः क्व गतास्ते गणेश्वराः
kā tvamasminpure devi vasase śivamarcatī | tāścāgatāḥ striyaḥ sarvāḥ kva gatāste gaṇeśvarāḥ
“اے دیوی! اس مقدس نگر میں تو کون ہے جو شِو کی ارچنا کرتی ہوئی رہتی ہے؟ اور جو سب عورتیں آئی تھیں—وہ کہاں چلی گئیں؟ اور وہ گنیشور، شِو کے گن، کہاں ہیں؟”
