Rudra (Śiva)
Tirtha: Nārada-tīrtha
Type: ghat
Scene: A marked ford on Revā’s north bank named for Nārada; devas assemble with Citrabhānu at the forefront, while a radiant sage sits in tapas, his aura suggesting all deities within him.
A tīrtha is not merely a place but a living divine field—gods and sages converge there, making worship especially potent.
The Nārada-named tīrtha on the northern bank of the Revā (Narmadā).
No direct rite is prescribed here; the verse establishes the sacred geography and divine presence that grounds the subsequent rituals.
