देव्युवाच । भार्ययाभ्यर्थितो भर्ता कारणं बहु भाषते । लघुत्वं याति सा नारी एवं शास्त्रेषु पठ्यते
devyuvāca | bhāryayābhyarthito bhartā kāraṇaṃ bahu bhāṣate | laghutvaṃ yāti sā nārī evaṃ śāstreṣu paṭhyate
دیوی نے کہا: جب بیوی کی درخواستوں سے شوہر پر دباؤ پڑتا ہے تو وہ بہت سے عذر و اسباب بیان کرتا ہے؛ اور وہ عورت ہلکی سمجھی جانے لگتی ہے—یوں شاستروں میں پڑھا جاتا ہے۔
