mātarastatra rājendra saṃjātā narmadātaṭe | umārdhanārirdeveśo vyālayajñopavītadhṛk

Translation

اے بہترین بادشاہ، وہاں نَرمدا کے کنارے پر ماتائیں (ماتریکائیں) ظہور پذیر ہوئیں۔ وہیں دیوتاؤں کے ایشور شِو بھی ہیں—جن کا آدھا انگ اُما ہے—اور جو سانپوں کے یَجنوپویت (جنیو) کو دھारण کرتے ہیں۔
