trayodaśyāṃ tato gatvā madanākhyatithau tadā | mārkaṇḍasya hrade snātvānarcya devaṃ guhāśayam

پھر تیرھویں تِتھی کو، جسے مدن کہا جاتا ہے، وہ مارکنڈ کے ہرد میں جا کر نہائی اور غار میں بسنے والے دیوتا کی پوجا کی۔
