तेनोक्ताः स्वसुतां चेत्तु राजा मे दातुमिच्छति । ततोऽस्य भूयोऽपि गृहे ज्वलेऽहं नान्यथा द्विजाः
tenoktāḥ svasutāṃ cettu rājā me dātumicchati | tato'sya bhūyo'pi gṛhe jvale'haṃ nānyathā dvijāḥ
اس نے اُن سے کہا: ‘اگر راجا سچ مچ اپنی ہی بیٹی مجھے دینا چاہے، تو میں اُس کے گھر میں پھر بھڑک اٹھوں گا؛ ورنہ نہیں، اے برہمنو!’
