Transliteration

gṛhānunmūlayāmāsa vṛkṣajātīnanekaśaḥ | bhūmikampāḥ sanirghātā ulkāpātāḥ sahasraśaḥ

Translation

اس نے گھروں کو جڑ سے اکھاڑ پھینکا اور طرح طرح کے بے شمار درختوں کو بھی۔ گرج دار دھماکوں کے ساتھ زلزلے آئے، اور ہزاروں کی تعداد میں شہابِ ثاقب گرے—دنیا بھر میں دہشت پھیلانے والی نحوست کی نشانیاں۔
