tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā vṛṣamutsṛjate naraḥ | sa yāti śivasāyujyamityevaṃ śaṅkaro'bravīt
Narrator reporting Śiva; explicit: Śaṅkara
Tirtha: Bhṛgukaccha-tīrtha (Revā-khaṇḍa)
Type: ghat
Scene: At the riverine tīrtha, a devotee bathes, then ceremonially releases a decorated bull as sacred gift; Śaṅkara’s words hover as divine sanction.
Pilgrimage is completed through compassion and dāna—snāna joined with sacred gifting leads toward liberation and Śiva-union.
The tīrtha in the Bhṛgu region (Bhṛgukṣetra/Bhṛgu-tīrtha) where this rite yields Śiva-sāyujya.
Bathe at the tīrtha and perform vṛṣotsarga—releasing/gifting a bull as a sacred act.
