evaṃ mayā purā dṛṣṭo yugānte sarvasaṃkṣayaḥ | varjayitvā mahāpuṇyāṃ narmadāṃ nṛpasattama

Translation

یوں میں نے قدیم زمانے میں یُگ کے اختتام پر کلی فنا دیکھی؛ مگر اے بہترین بادشاہ، نہایت پُنیہ مئی نَرمدا کو چھوڑ کر (وہ محفوظ رہی)۔
