ṛṣibhirdaśakoṭibhirnarmadātīravāsibhiḥ | vibhakteyaṃ vibhaktāṅgī narmadā śarmadā nṛṇām

Translation

نرمدا کے کناروں پر بسنے والے دس کروڑ رِشیوں نے اس نرمدا کو—جس کے اعضاء شاستری طریقے سے تقسیم ہیں—تقسیم و مقرر کیا؛ وہ انسانوں کے لیے خیر و عافیت عطا کرنے والی ہے۔
