Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣi audience (frame)
Scene: A single officiant—either an astrologer-priest with almanac tools or a Sāma-chanter holding a vīṇā/chanting posture—consecrates a kumbha, placing five gems within, beside the flowing Revā.
Purāṇic rites integrate sacred place, qualified officiants, and consecrated materials to channel auspiciousness.
The instruction continues within the Eraṇḍī-saṅgama tīrtha framework in the Revā Khaṇḍa.
Prepare the ritual kumbha through a daivajña or a Sāma-veda chanter, and place pañcaratna (five gems) in/with the pot.
