पाद्मं च पञ्चपञ्चाशत्सहस्राणि निगद्यते । तृतीयं वैष्णवंनाम त्रयोविंशतिसंख्यया

pādmaṃ ca pañcapañcāśatsahasrāṇi nigadyate | tṛtīyaṃ vaiṣṇavaṃnāma trayoviṃśatisaṃkhyayā

پادْم پُران کے بارے میں کہا گیا ہے کہ اس میں پچپن ہزار (شلوک) ہیں۔ تیسرا ‘وَیشنو’ نام سے موسوم ہے، جس کی تعداد تئیس ہزار ہے۔
