The verse highlights darśana—direct perception of the Supreme Person—as a moment of grace where the seeker’s attention becomes one-pointed and recognizes the Highest as the true refuge, a key Shaiva theme of Shiva’s revealing presence.
Although the verse describes seeing the Supreme Person, it aligns with Saguna worship: the transcendent (Param) becomes knowable through a perceivable form. In Shiva tradition, this same accessibility is affirmed through Linga worship as a sacred focus for divine presence.
It suggests focused contemplation (dhyāna) leading to darśana—steady attention on Shiva’s form or the Linga, supported by mantra-japa such as the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to cultivate one-pointed devotion.
