वामं नो अस्त्वर्यमन्वामं वरुण शंस्यम् । वामं ह्यावृणीमहे ॥
Transliteration
vāmáṃ no astv aryaman vāmáṃ varuṇa śáṃsyam | vāmáṃ hí āvṛṇīmahe ||
Translation
Let there be for us the good and desirable, O Aryaman; O Varuṇa, the good that is to be affirmed—yes, the good we choose and take into ourselves.
