इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
नैवंरणगताःशूराःप्रहरन्तिनिशाचर ।लघवश्चाल्पवीर्याश्चशरासुखास्तवहीमे ।।6.89.17।।
naivaṃ raṇagatāḥ śūrāḥ praharanti niśācara |
laghavaś cālpavīryāś ca śarāḥ sukhās tava hīme ||6.89.17||
اے رات کے بھٹکنے والے! میدانِ جنگ میں سچے سورما یوں وار نہیں کرتے۔ تیرے یہ تیر ہلکے اور کم زور ہیں؛ سچ تو یہ ہے کہ یہ تو مجھے خوشگوار سے لگتے ہیں۔
