युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

द्रुमवर्षंतुसञ्छिन्नंदृष्टवाकुम्भोनवीर्यवान् ।।।।वानराधिपति: शीमान्महासत्त्वो न विव्यथे ।
drumavarṣaṃ tu sañchinnaṃ dṛṣṭvā kumbhena vīryavān | vānarādhipatiḥ śrīmān mahāsattvo na vivyathe ||
جب کُمبھ نے درختوں کی بارش کو چیر کر ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا، یہ دیکھ کر بھی ویر، جلیل و باوقار وانروں کا ادھیپتی—عظیم ہمت والا—ذرّہ بھر نہ ڈگمگایا۔
