कुम्भकर्णवधश्रवणेन रावणविलापः

Ravana’s Lament on Hearing of Kumbhakarna’s Slaying

तंश्रुत्वाविनिहतंसङ्ख्येकुम्भकर्णंमहाबलम् ।रावणश्शोकसन्तप्तोमुमोह च पपात च ।।।।

taṃ śrutvā vinihataṃ saṅkhye kumbhakarṇaṃ mahā-balam |

rāvaṇaḥ śoka-santapto mumoha ca papāta ca ||

جب اس نے سنا کہ میدانِ جنگ میں مہابلی کمبھکرن مارا گیا، تو راون غم کی تپش سے جل اٹھا؛ ہوش کھو بیٹھا اور گر پڑا۔
