Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
तान् प्रेक्षमाणस्सहसानिकृत्तानिकृत्तभोगानिवपन्नगेन्द्रान् ।लङ्केश्वरःक्रोधवशंजगामससर्जचान्यान्निशितान्पृषत्कान् ।।6.59.100।।
tān prekṣamāṇaḥ sahasā nikṛttān nikṛttabhogān iva pannagendrān | laṅkeśvaraḥ krodhavaśaṃ jagāma sasarja cānyān niśitān pṛṣatkān ||6.59.100||
جب لنکا کے ایشور راون نے دیکھا کہ اس کے تیر زور سے ٹوٹ پھوٹ گئے ہیں—گویا ناگ راجاؤں کے پیچ کاٹ دیے گئے ہوں—تو وہ غضب کے قبضے میں آ گیا اور اس نے پھر دوسرے تیز دھار تیر چھوڑ دیے۔
Seeing the arrows cut down with force broken pieces like coils of serpents, the Lord of Lanka overtaken by anger let go another sharp arrow.
