The Slaying of Prahasta
तेप्राप्यविशिखानीलंविनिर्भिद्यसमाहिताः ।।।।महींजग्मुर्महावेगारुषिताइवपन्नगाः ।
te prāpya viśikhā nīlaṃ vinirbhidya samāhitāḥ |
mahīṃ jagmur mahā-vegā ruṣitā iva pannagāḥ ||6.58.38||
وہ نشانے پر لگے ہوئے تیر نیل تک پہنچے، اسے چیرتے ہوئے گزر گئے، اور غضب ناک سانپوں کی طرح بڑی تیزی سے دوڑ کر زمین میں جا دھنسے۔
Prahastha, the Commander-in-Chief of the army, supreme among wielders of bow, stretched his best bow and drew it and began to discharge arrows at Neela.
