राघव-रावणयोः घोर-द्वैरथ-युद्धम्

प्रायुध्येतामविच्छिन्नमस्यन्तौसव्यदक्षिणम् ।।6.109.26।।चक्रतुश्चशरैर्घोरैर्निरुच्छवासमिवाम्बरम् ।
prāyudhyetām avicchinnam asyantau savya-dakṣiṇam |
cakratuś ca śarair ghorair nirucchvāsam ivāmbaram ||6.109.26||
وہ بے وقفہ لڑتے رہے، بائیں اور دائیں سے تیر برساتے؛ ہولناک تیروں سے انہوں نے آسمان کو گویا بے سانس کر دیا، کہ پروازوں کے بیچ کوئی خلا نہ رہا۔
