दुर्गगम्भीरपरिघां दुर्गामन्यैर्दुरासदाम् ।वाजिवारणसम्पूर्णां गोभिरुष्ट्रै: खरैस्तथा ।।।।

وہ نگری مضبوط قلعہ تھی: گہری خندق اور سخت حصار کے ساتھ، دوسروں کے لیے ناقابلِ رسائی۔ اس میں گھوڑے اور ہاتھی بھرپور تھے، اور اسی طرح گائیں، اونٹ اور خچر بھی کثرت سے تھے۔
