भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च

स रुदित्वा चिरं कालं भूमौ विपरिवृत्य च।जननीं प्रत्युवाचेदं शोकैर्बहुभिरावृतः।।2.72.26।।
sa ruditvā ciraṃ kālaṃ bhūmau viparivṛtya ca | jananīṃ pratyuvācedaṃ śokair bahubhir āvṛtaḥ || 2.72.26 ||
پھر وہ دیر تک روتا رہا اور زمین پر لوٹ پوٹ ہوتا رہا؛ بہت سے غموں میں ڈوبا ہوا بھرت نے اپنی ماں سے یوں کہا۔
