भरतस्य मातृसदनगमनं कैकेय्या दारुणवृत्तान्तकथनं च
Bharata in Kaikeyi’s apartments: revelation of Daśaratha’s death and Rāma’s exile
अभिषेक्ष्यति रामं नु राजा यज्ञं नु यक्ष्यते।इत्यहं कृतसङ्कल्पो हृष्टो यात्रामयासिषम्।।2.72.27।।
abhiṣekṣyati rāmaṃ nu rājā yajñaṃ nu yakṣyate |
ity ahaṃ kṛta-saṅkalpo hṛṣṭo yātrām ayāsiṣam || 2.72.27 ||
یہ سوچ کر کہ ‘شاید راجا رام کا ابھیشیک کرے—یا شاید یَجْیَہ (قربانی) کرے’ میں نے پختہ ارادہ باندھا اور خوش دل ہو کر سفر کا آغاز کیا۔
