अभिषेक-निवृत्ति-उपदेशः
Withdrawal of the Coronation: Rama’s Counsel to Lakshmana
कृतान्तस्त्वेव सौमित्रे द्रष्टव्यो मत्प्रवासने।राज्यस्य च वितीर्णस्य पुनरेव निवर्तने।।।।
kṛtāntas tv eva saumitre draṣṭavyo mat-pravāsane | rājyasya ca vitīrṇasya punar eva nivartane ||
اے سومِتری! میرے جلاوطن ہونے میں، اور عطا کی گئی سلطنت کے پھر واپس لے لیے جانے میں، سبب کے طور پر صرف تقدیر ہی کو دیکھنا چاہیے۔
If the award of the kingdom to me is revoked, O Lakshmana, and if I am banished in this manner, see, it is destiny.
