Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent

यद्यप्येषा मम प्रीतिर्हितमन्यद्विचिन्त्यताम्।अन्या मध्यस्थचिन्ता हि विमर्दाभ्यधिकोदया।।2.2.16।।

yady apy eṣā mama prītiḥ hitam anyad vicintyatām | anyā madhyastha-cintā hi vimardābhy adhikodayā || 2.2.16 ||

اگرچہ یہی بات مجھے محبوب ہے، پھر بھی کسی اور راہ—جو ہیت و بھلائی لائے—پر بھی غور کیا جائے؛ کیونکہ غیر جانب دار دلوں کی سوچ بچار، خوب تدبیر کے ساتھ، زیادہ فائدہ بخش ہوتی ہے۔
