FAQs

He recalls the period when his mother (Vinātā, implied) was enslaved and the well-known episode of obtaining/bringing the amṛta (nectar of immortality), addressed here to Hari (Viṣṇu).

By addressing Viṣṇu as “Hari” and linking the cosmic event of amṛta with a devotee’s personal suffering, it frames divine power as relevant to liberation and protection.

It highlights filial duty and perseverance: Garuḍa’s resolve to relieve his mother’s suffering becomes a moral model of responsibility and determined action aligned with dharma.
