FAQs

It prescribes offering añjana (collyrium/kohl), providing a golden applicator-rod (śalākā), and preparing seven or eight fruits as part of a devotional or meritorious offering.

It suggests fruits that are well-cleansed and matured—figuratively “washed by time,” i.e., properly ripened/seasoned and made fit for offering.

It highlights careful, respectful preparation in giving—offerings should be clean, suitable, and thoughtfully presented rather than casual or careless.
