त्वया मे मातरः पूज्याः पादसंवाहनादिमिः । तदुच्छिष्टं हि भुंजाना तत्कर्मकरणादरा

tvayā me mātaraḥ pūjyāḥ pādasaṃvāhanādimiḥ | taducchiṣṭaṃ hi bhuṃjānā tatkarmakaraṇādarā

تمہارے ذریعے میری مائیں (بزرگ خواتین) قابلِ پوجا ہوں—ان کی خدمت، جیسے پاؤں دبانا وغیرہ، سے۔ ان کا اُچِشْٹ (بچا ہوا) کھانا کھانا اور ان کے کاموں کو ادب سے انجام دینا—یہی تمہاری تعظیم ہے۔
