यदि त्वमनया शक्त्या न हिंससि निशाचरम् । खादयिष्यति दुर्मेधास्त्वां च मां च न सशयः ॥ ११८ ॥

yadi tvamanayā śaktyā na hiṃsasi niśācaram | khādayiṣyati durmedhāstvāṃ ca māṃ ca na saśayaḥ || 118 ||

اگر تم اس قوت سے اس شب گرد دیو کو ہلاک نہ کرو گے تو وہ بدبخت احمق یقیناً تمہیں اور مجھے دونوں کو نگل جائے گا—اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
