Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It presents homa with specific sacred substances (guḍūcī, tila, dūrvā) as a merit-generating discipline whose fruits include āyuḥ (longevity), śrī (prosperity), and puṇya (accumulated virtue), emphasizing sustained ritual effort as spiritually efficacious.
While primarily ritual-focused, it supports bhakti indirectly by prescribing offerings used in worshipful fire-rituals; such homa can be performed as an act of reverence to the divine, cultivating devotion through disciplined sacred action.
It highlights applied ritual procedure (homa/havana) and the correct use of dravyas (offering substances), aligning with Vedanga-oriented technical practice—how specific materials are employed in yajña to yield stated results.
