Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames mantra-meditation as a precise, letter-based discipline: contemplating specific syllabic positions (second, middle, penultimate) is presented as a complete method capable of yielding comprehensive spiritual attainments.
Although technical, it supports bhakti by giving a structured way to hold the divine mantra in awareness; steady dhyāna on sacred syllables becomes an aid to one-pointed remembrance and worship.
It highlights a mantra-śāstra approach rooted in phonetics and letter-analysis—close to Śikṣā (sound/phonetics) and Vyākaraṇa-style attention to akṣaras—applied directly to ritual meditation (dhyāna).
