Nyāsa, Yantra, Homa, and Dīpa-Vrata
pādaiḥ sarveṇa paṃcāṃgaṃ dhyānapūjādi pūrvavat | kārtavīryāya śabdāṃte vidmahe padamuñcaret || 58 ||
Narada (teaching in a technical, procedural register consistent with Vedanga-style ritual/mantra instructions)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes disciplined, complete performance: the mantra must be recited in full (all padas) together with the standard fivefold devotional-ritual components like meditation and worship, showing that inner focus and outer rite function as a single practice.
Bhakti here is expressed as structured worship—dhyāna and pūjā “as prescribed”—where correct remembrance and reverent offering accompany the mantra, indicating devotion is stabilized through consistent method.
Mantra-structure and recitation protocol: the verse refers to padas (quarters) and specifies inserting/uttering “vidmahe” at a particular point, reflecting a technical concern akin to śikṣā (phonetics/recitation) and ritual procedure.
