برہمن عورت بولی—اے بادشاہوں کے شیر! خوف سے بے قرار مجھے بچا لیجیے۔ جو جان سے بھی زیادہ عزیز ہے وہ عطا کرکے میری آرزو پوری کیجیے۔
Brāhmaṇī (Brahmin woman)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
It highlights rakṣaṇa-dharma—the duty to protect the frightened and helpless—showing that righteous action begins with responding to sincere, fear-stricken supplication.
Though not a direct Vishnu-bhakti teaching, the tone mirrors bhakti’s core mood: humble surrender and urgent seeking of refuge (śaraṇāgati), here directed to a king as protector.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa) is taught in this verse; it is primarily a dharma-narrative emphasizing ethical responsibility and protection.
