एवं निवारयंतं तं बहुशो ज्येष्टसोदरम् । हनिष्यामीति निश्चित्य खङ्गहस्तः कचेऽग्रहीत् ॥ ८ ॥

evaṃ nivārayaṃtaṃ taṃ bahuśo jyeṣṭasodaram | haniṣyāmīti niścitya khaṅgahastaḥ kace'grahīt || 8 ||

اس طرح، اگرچہ اس کے بڑے بھائی نے اسے بار بار روکنے کی کوشش کی، اس نے تہیہ کر لیا کہ "میں اسے مار ڈالوں گا،" اور ہاتھ میں تلوار لے کر اسے بالوں سے پکڑ لیا۔
